The United Arab Emirates Still Holds the Top Spot for Full Vaccination Rate in Asia

A report by Our World in Data shows that as of Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 83.55% of the population in the United Arab Emirates had received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. This vaccination rate is the highest in Asia.

Singapore is second with a fully vaccinated population ratio of 77.84% as of October 4, 2021. Qatar follows with 75.7% of its population fully vaccinated.

70.78% of China's population had received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine by September 18, 2021. Cambodia had fully vaccinated 65.41% of its population by October 1, 2021.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's full vaccination rate is 27th in Asia, reaching only 19.42% of its population. Following Indonesia is Lebanon with a full vaccination rate of 19.61%.

Despite the ongoing vaccination program, the public is still urged to diligently wear masks, maintain social distancing, avoid crowds, and wash their hands with soap. Adherence to these 3M health protocols can prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
