According to Halodoc, the trend of purchasing health products during Ramadan tends to increase compared to other months.
This is evident, among other things, in the purchase of vitamins and supplements, which increased by 28% in the week before Ramadan, then grew by 32% in the first week of Ramadan 2025.
"This surge indicates that people have started stocking up on or consuming vitamins before Ramadan begins, to maintain stamina during fasting amidst their busy daily routines," Halodoc stated in its Q1 2026 Indonesia Health Insights report.
In the vitamin and supplement category, zinc-based products recorded the highest spike, growing 320% compared to the average weekly purchase in months other than Ramadan.
The following is a list of vitamin and supplement products with the highest purchase growth in the week before and the first week of Ramadan 2025:
- Zinc: up 320%
- Vitamin C: up 113%
- Adult multivitamins: up 56%
- Iron supplements: up 40%
- Probiotics: up 31%
According to Halodoc, the growth in purchases of zinc, vitamin C, and multivitamins indicates that people are increasingly paying attention to their intake to maintain their endurance and immunity during fasting.
Furthermore, the growth in purchases of iron supplements and probiotics indicates that people are trying to maintain their physical condition to prevent fatigue or digestive problems during fasting.
"This trend confirms that strengthening the immune system is a primary focus for people in preparing their bodies for changes in eating patterns and rest hours during Ramadan," said Halodoc.

All analyses focused on patients aged 12 years and older, encompassing populations from across Indonesia.
