Several districts/cities in Bengkulu province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Muko Muko Regency, Kepahiang Regency, and Rejang Lebong Regency.
As of Sunday, October 17, 2021, these three regencies had only completed 95,762 first doses of the vaccine, out of a target of 478,780 vaccine recipients.
Muko Muko Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this region has only recorded an 18.07% vaccination rate, the lowest among the 10 other districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 142,830 participants.
Next is Kepahiang Regency, ranking second lowest. With a vaccination target of 118,090 participants, only 19.49% or 23,021 participants have been vaccinated. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 153 participants. The available vaccine stock is 8,990 doses.
Following is Rejang Lebong Regency, ranked third lowest. With a vaccination target of 217,860 participants, only 21.54% or 46,928 participants have been vaccinated. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 549 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 8,516 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Bengkulu has reached 30.54%, covering 474,530 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 17.8%, covering 276,610 vaccine recipients.
