The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) reported that residents of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra suffered from several diseases following the ecological disaster that struck since November 25, 2025.
During the data collection period from November 25 to December 5, 2025, acute respiratory infections (ARIs), skin diseases, and diarrhea were the most prevalent in these three provinces.
The number of ARI sufferers reached 2,868 in Aceh, 4,333 in North Sumatra, and 697 in West Sumatra.
Meanwhile, skin disease cases reached 2,533 in Aceh, 4,340 in North Sumatra, and 209 in West Sumatra.
As for diarrhea, there were 549 cases in Aceh, 892 in North Sumatra, and 60 in West Sumatra.

Data compiled by Databoks from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) shows that as of Monday (December 8, 2025) at 08:00 AM Western Indonesian Time (WIB), this disaster has resulted in 926 deaths, 272 missing persons, and approximately 5,000 injured.
