The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) reported that more than 8.2 million people participated in the free health check program (CKG) since its launch on February 10th to June 11th, 2025.

A recorded 69.2% of CKG participants experienced dental health problems, ranging from cavities and missing teeth to loose teeth and gum recession.

Health Minister Budi Gunadi stated that dental health has not been a primary concern for the public.
