Finance Minister Sri Mulyani has set new regulations regarding daily travel cost standards for state civil servants (ASN) in 2026.
This regulation is stipulated in the Indonesian Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 32 of 2025 concerning Input Cost Standards for the 2026 Fiscal Year.
Based on region, the highest hotel rate for state officials, deputy ministers, and echelon I officials is in DKI Jakarta, reaching Rp9.33 million per night.
The following is a list of the 10 provinces with the highest domestic official travel accommodation budget in 2026:
- DKI Jakarta: Rp9.33 million per night
- Bali: Rp7.32 million per night
- South Sumatra: Rp6.29 million per night
- Riau Islands: Rp6.17 million per night
- Central Java: Rp6.12 million per night
- West Java: Rp5.81 million per night
- Banten: Rp5.72 million per night
- Papua Pegunungan: Rp5.71 million per night
- South Papua: Rp5.67 million per night
- West Sumatra: Rp5.6 million per night
Meanwhile, the province with the lowest hotel budget for this category is Bengkulu, at only Rp2.14 million per night, followed by Central Sulawesi at Rp2.3 million and West Kalimantan at Rp2.65 million per night.
Furthermore, the PMK also regulates the amount of representation money for domestic official travel. State officials and deputy ministers will receive Rp250,000 per day for out-of-town assignments and Rp125,000 for in-town assignments lasting more than 8 hours per day.
