National COVID-19 vaccination as of Wednesday, October 6, 2021, has reached 152.75 million doses. This includes 96.11 million first doses, 54.72 million second doses, and 1.92 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 1.99 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, exceeding the target by 35.21%. 1.85 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, exceeding the target by 25.81%. The government also recommends a third dose for healthcare workers; 977,740 have received it, representing 66.57% of the target.
For public sector workers, 27.84 million people have received the first dose (160.66% of the target), and 20.82 million have received the second dose (120.15% of the target).
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 6.8 million elderly individuals (31.54% of the target) have received the first dose, and 4.51 million (20.91% of the target) have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 54.46 million people (39.32% of the target) have received the first dose, and 23.91 million (17.54% of the target) have received the second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17, 3.96 million (14.83% of the target) have received the first dose, and 2.78 million (10.4% of the target) have received the second dose.
