BRI Liga 1 Week 14 Top Scorers List: David da Silva Closes in on Gustavo

Arema FC striker, Gustavo Almeida, remains firmly at the top of the BRI Liga Indonesia 2023/24 top scorer standings after week 14, following a 2-1 victory against PSS Sleman at Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, on Saturday (30/9/2023).

According to statistics from the official Liga 1 website, Gustavo has scored 11 goals, leading the current BRI Liga 1 top scorer list. The Brazilian player scored two goals from penalty kicks in his last match.

Although Gustavo leads the top scorer standings, this achievement isn't mirrored by positive results for Arema FC.

The team, nicknamed Singo Edan, remains stuck in the relegation zone. After week 14, Arema FC is ranked 16th with 13 points.

Of the 14 matches played, Arema FC has lost more than they have won. This means that most of Gustavo's goals were scored in matches where Arema lost or drew.

In second place in the Liga 1 2023/24 top scorer standings is Persib Bandung striker, David da Silva.

Currently, David da Silva has scored eight goals. He scored three of these goals in Persib's 5-0 victory over Persita Tangerang on Sunday evening (1/10/2023).

The Maung Bandung player scored a hat-trick in the 9th, 48th, and 51st minutes.

Meanwhile, the other players in the BRI Liga 1 top scorer standings after week 14 are Alex (Dewa United), Junior Brandao (Madura United), and Gustavo Tocantins (Barito Putera), all with 7 goals each.
