The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 129 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 3.12 percent as of Thursday, December 1, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20 percent are Lombok Barat (35 percent), Metro City (24.56 percent), Tasikmalaya (20.86 percent), Pasuruan (20.25 percent), and Ciamis (20 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily increase in tracing compared to previous days was recorded in 31 regencies/cities, while 36 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat (35 percent), Metro City (24.56 percent), and Karimun (19.5 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
