Weekly Inpatient Care Utilization in Banjar Regency is the Highest in South Kalimantan (Saturday, July 16, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded an average weekly inpatient utilization rate in South Kalimantan agglomeration of 1.15 patients, data updated as of Saturday, July 16, 2022. This figure is higher than the national average, which currently stands at 1.01 patients per 100,000 population/week.

Banjar Regency ranks first with the highest weekly agglomeration inpatient utilization rate of 2.66 patients per 100,000 population/week. The weekly agglomeration inpatient utilization rate in this regency shows improvement with a decrease compared to the previous week, which recorded 3.33 patients per 100,000 population/week.

Conversely, for South Hulu Sungai Regency, Ministry of Health data shows a weekly agglomeration inpatient utilization rate of 1.68 patients per 100,000 population/week. This figure is higher than the previous week, which was only 0.42 patients per 100,000 population/week. Next is Banjarmasin City. This regency in South Kalimantan Province recorded a weekly agglomeration inpatient utilization rate of 1.11 patients per 100,000 population/week.

Banjarbaru City and Tanah Laut Regency follow, with recorded weekly agglomeration inpatient utilization rates of 1.07 patients per 100,000 population/week and 0.85 patients per 100,000 population/week, respectively.

Nationally, the average weekly agglomeration inpatient utilization rate across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was only 0.85 patients per 100,000 population/week.
