The number of people in South Sulawesi who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 3.16 million.

As of Friday, November 19, 2021, South Sulawesi Province has achieved a 44.84% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 3.16 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 7.06 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 29.37% of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 58,860 recipients. For the first dose, 58,860 people were vaccinated (125.54% of the target), and for the second dose, 117.35% or 69,070 people were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 694,480 people. The first dose vaccination reached 703,910 people (101.36% of the target), and the second dose reached 86.08%, or 597,790 people.

For the elderly, the target was 753,920 people. The first dose was administered to 176,550 people (23.42% of the target). The second dose reached 14.68%, or 110,670 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 4.57 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.58 million people (34.91% of the target). The second dose reached 20.16%, or 908,020 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17, the target was 978,890 people. The first dose was administered to 614,270 people (62.75% of the target). The second dose reached 38.19%, or 373,800 people.
