People are having difficulty obtaining medical equipment such as oximeters and oxygen cylinders.

A survey titled "Community Compliance During the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM)" shows that respondents found it most difficult to meet their needs for supporting medical equipment. This includes oximeters, oxygen tanks, nebulizers, and others.

Specifically, 34.1% of respondents from Java and Bali and 24% from outside Java and Bali had difficulty meeting these needs.

Furthermore, 20.6% of respondents in Java and Bali found it difficult to access healthcare services if someone fell ill, whether exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or not. This figure was 13.4% outside Java and Bali.

Next, 20.1% of respondents from Java and Bali and 18.2% from outside Java and Bali had difficulty meeting their daily basic needs. Finally, 17.2% of respondents from Java and Bali and 14.5% from outside Java and Bali found it difficult to meet their needs for medication and vitamins, including health supplements, masks, and hand sanitizer.

The survey was conducted from July 13 to 20, 2021, involving 212,762 respondents. 71.3% were from Java and Bali, while 28.7% were from outside these islands. A non-probability snowball sampling method was used.
