The top five, starting from the highest, are Balikpapan City, Mimika, Sukabumi City, Surakarta City, and Tana Tidung, with percentages of 392.55 percent, 295.09 percent, 276.29 percent, 263.51 percent, and 228.57 percent, respectively.
Balikpapan City ranks first. With a population of 646,020, its weekly testing percentage is recorded at 392.55 percent. The latest positive rate is 4.67 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Mimika. The region's population is 221,810. In efforts to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage reached 295.09 percent. The positive rate in this region is 5.6 percent, also higher than the previous week's percentage.
Sukabumi City recorded a testing percentage of 276.29 percent, Surakarta City recorded 263.51 percent, and Tana Tidung, with a population of 30,725, recorded 228.57 percent.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 125 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported higher weekly testing percentages than before. Meanwhile, 228 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly testing percentages compared to the previous week.
