The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 34 districts/cities with a number of agglomeration deaths due to Covid-19 above the national average, currently recorded at 0 per 100,000 population per week, data as of Friday, February 24, 2023.
The five districts/cities with the highest number of agglomeration deaths due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.05 per 100,000 population per week, are Muara Enim (0.15 per 100,000 population per week), Lombok Barat (0.13 per 100,000 population per week), Purwakarta (0.1 per 100,000 population per week), Banyumas (0.06 per 100,000 population per week), and Malang (0.05 per 100,000 population per week).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the number of agglomeration deaths due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. No districts/cities recorded a higher daily number of agglomeration deaths due to Covid-19 than previously.
Areas outside Java with the highest number of agglomeration deaths due to Covid-19 include Muara Enim (0.15 per 100,000 population per week), Lombok Barat (0.13 per 100,000 population per week), and Gorontalo City (0 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
