As of Saturday, October 16, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Central Sulawesi Province has reached 30.22 percent. This figure is equivalent to 645,370 vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.14 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 17.62 percent of the target as of yesterday.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: the health workforce group with a target of 24,600 participants. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 24,600 people (106.84 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 98.36 percent or 24,190 people were vaccinated.

Vaccination for public officials targeted 225,260 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 198,340 people (88.05 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 66.73 percent, or 150,320 people.

Next, vaccination for the elderly targeted 196,630 people. For the first dose, it has been given to 28,930 people (14.71 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 9.21 percent or 18,110 people have been vaccinated.

Vaccination for the vulnerable general public targeted 1.37 million people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly been given to 333,470 people (27.72 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 12.82 percent or 136,000 people have been vaccinated.

Other targets include adolescents aged 12-17 years. In this region, the target set is 314,610 people. For the first dose, it has been given to 10,650 people (3.39 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 2.37 percent or 7,451 people have been vaccinated.
