Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 26,570 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 26,570 people (129.08 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 124.51 percent or 33,090 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 319,780 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 312,890 people (97.85 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 89.5 percent, or 286,210 people.
The elderly target was 258,550 people. For the first dose, 88,610 people were vaccinated (34.27 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 17.81 percent, or 46,050 people.
The vulnerable general public target was 2.15 million people. For the first dose, 963,990 people were vaccinated (46.86 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 25.25 percent, or 505,080 people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 402,120 people. For the first dose, 272,010 people were vaccinated (67.64 percent of the target). The second dose reached 45.39 percent, or 182,520 people.
