National COVID-19 vaccination as of Tuesday, December 28, 2021, has reached 272.54 million doses. This includes 158.11 million first doses, 111.91 million second doses, and 2.51 million doses for the community-based vaccination program.
A total of 2.04 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, or 139.19% of the target. 1.96 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, or 133.25% of the target. For healthcare workers, the government also recommends a third dose, which has been administered to 1.28 million healthcare workers, or 87.46% of the target.
For public officials, 23.58 million people have received the first dose, or 136.07% of the target. Of this number, 21.14 million people, or 122.02% of the target, have received the second dose.
In the first phase, the government also prioritized elderly individuals. However, to date, only 13.85 million, or 64.24% of the target, have received the first dose. 8.84 million, or 41.03% of the target, have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general population groups for vaccination. For this group, 94.98 million people, or 68.18% of the target, have received the first dose. 61.86 million, or 44.67% of the target, have received the second dose.
Finally, another vaccination target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. A total of 22.36 million people in this group, or 83.72% of the target, have received the first dose. Of this number, 16.89 million people, or 63.26% of the target, have received the second dose.
