The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 131 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.93 percent as of Friday, November 4, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 23.4 percent are Surabaya City, Metro City, West Lombok, Mojokerto City, and Semarang City, with respective values of 30 percent, 27.75 percent, 26.24 percent, 24.82 percent, and 23.4 percent.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily tracing rate higher than before was recorded in 28 districts/cities, while 26 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City, West Lombok, and Bima City, with tracing rates of 27.75 percent, 26.24 percent, and 20 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
