As of Thursday, November 25, 2021, a total of 232.21 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 137.1 million first doses, 92.72 million second doses, and 2.39 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 2.03 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (138.24% of the target), and 1.93 million have received their second dose (131.35% of the target). Furthermore, 1.22 million healthcare workers (83.18% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 32.06 million individuals (185.03% of the target) have received their first dose, and 25.94 million (149.72% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 2.87 million elderly individuals (13.3% of the target) have received their first dose, and 1.8 million (8.35% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 92.96 million individuals (66.72% of the target) have received their first dose, and 57.78 million (41.73% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 5.93 million (22.19% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4.12 million (15.45% of the target) have received their second dose.
