National COVID-19 vaccination as of Tuesday, December 21, 2021, has reached 263.26 million doses. This includes 152.88 million first doses, 107.89 million second doses, and 2.5 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 2.04 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, exceeding the target by 139.01%. 1.95 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, exceeding the target by 132.88%. Furthermore, 1.27 million healthcare workers (86.72% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 23.67 million people (136.59% of the target) have received the first dose, and 21.11 million (121.81% of the target) have received the second dose.
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. However, to date, only 13.08 million (60.7% of the target) have received the first dose, and 8.44 million (39.18% of the target) have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 91.02 million people (65.37% of the target) have received the first dose, and 58.78 million (42.48% of the target) have received the second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 21.77 million (81.52% of the target) have received the first dose, and 16.39 million (61.37% of the target) have received the second dose.
