As of Wednesday, September 15, 2021, a total of 120.68 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 75.79 million first doses, 43.28 million second doses, and 1.61 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (133.42% of the target). 1.79 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (122.2% of the target). Furthermore, 816,770 healthcare workers have received a third dose (55.61% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.57 million people have received their first dose (159.11% of the target), and 14.29 million (82.47% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 5.77 million elderly individuals (26.78% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4.08 million (18.92% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 36.36 million people (26.41% of the target) have received their first dose, and 20.24 million (14.82% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.2 million (11.97% of the target) have received their first dose, and 2.2 million (8.24% of the target) have received their second dose.
