As of Tuesday, January 11, 2022, a total of 291.64 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 171.45 million first doses, 117.65 million second doses, and 2.54 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, representing 139.12% of the target. 1.33 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (133.52% of the target). Furthermore, 1.33 million healthcare workers (90.54% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 23.47 million people (135.44% of the target) have received their first dose, and 21.18 million (122.26% of the target) have received their second dose.
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 14.79 million (68.6% of the target) have received their first dose, and 9.47 million (43.94% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 99.64 million people (71.49% of the target) have received their first dose, and 66.13 million (47.7% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17, 23.18 million (86.81% of the target) have received their first dose, and 17.66 million (66.11% of the target) have received their second dose.
