As of Friday, September 17, 2021, a total of 123.87 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 77.89 million first doses, 44.33 million second doses, and 1.65 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (133.56% of the target). 1.8 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (122.55% of the target). Furthermore, 843,990 healthcare workers have received a third dose (57.46% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.62 million people have received their first dose (159.38% of the target), and 14.73 million (84.99% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial phases of the vaccination program. To date, 5.85 million elderly individuals (27.15% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4.12 million (19.09% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 38.27 million people (27.77% of the target) have received their first dose, and 20.74 million (15.19% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.24 million (12.14% of the target) have received their first dose, and 2.25 million (8.41% of the target) have received their second dose.
