As of Saturday, September 18, 2021, a total of 124.91 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 78.54 million first doses, 44.72 million second doses, and 1.66 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("gotong royong").
A total of 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (133.58% of the target). 1.8 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (122.64% of the target). Furthermore, 848,880 healthcare workers have received a third dose (57.8% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.63 million people have received their first dose (159.45% of the target), and 14.91 million (86.07% of the target) have received their second dose.
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 5.87 million elderly individuals (27.25% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4.13 million (19.17% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 38.87 million people (28.2% of the target) have received their first dose, and 20.9 million (15.3% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.25 million (12.18% of the target) have received their first dose, and 2.26 million (8.46% of the target) have received their second dose.
