By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,390 recipients. For the first dose, 32,390 people were vaccinated (132.99% of the target), and for the second dose, 124.51% or 40,330 people were vaccinated.
For public sector workers, the target was 400,270 people. The first dose vaccination reached 298,990 people (74.7% of the target), and the second dose reached 61.34%, or 245,530 people.
For the elderly, the target was 489,570 people. The first dose was administered to 149,680 people (30.57% of the target). The second dose reached only 12.77%, or 62,500 people.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.9 million people. For the first dose, 1.48 million people were vaccinated (51.05% of the target). The second dose reached only 21.98%, or 635,680 people.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 589,720 people. The first dose was administered to 485,850 people (82.39% of the target). The second dose reached 53.1%, or 313,160 people.
