As of Monday, December 13, 2021, a total of 252.65 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 147.04 million first doses, 103.13 million second doses, and 2.47 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 2.04 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (138.99% of the target), and 1.95 million have received their second dose (132.66% of the target). Furthermore, 1.26 million healthcare workers (85.82% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 23.8 million people (137.38% of the target) have received their first dose, and 21.06 million (121.55% of the target) have received their second dose.
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 12.38 million elderly individuals (57.45% of the target) have received their first dose, and 8.03 million (37.25% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 86.5 million people (62.17% of the target) have received their first dose, and 55.3 million (40.01% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17, 21.02 million (78.71% of the target) have received their first dose, and 15.6 million (58.41% of the target) have received their second dose.
