The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 125 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.78 percent as of Sunday, December 11, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 24 percent are Surabaya City, Musi Rawas Regency, Metro City, Mojokerto City, and West Lombok Regency, with values of 30 percent, 28 percent, 27 percent, 25 percent, and 24 percent respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing rates in most districts/cities outside Java. An increase in daily tracing rates compared to previous days was recorded in 11 districts/cities, while two districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Musi Rawas Regency, Metro City, and West Lombok Regency, with tracing rates of 28 percent, 27 percent, and 24 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
