Telemedicine users in this report refer to users of online doctor consultation services, either through online services from hospitals/clinics or using third-party digital applications.

The KIC survey found that 67.2% of respondents had used telemedicine, and 32.8% had not.

Among respondents who used telemedicine, the majority, or 84.3%, resided near a puskesmas with a travel time of less than 30 minutes.

Then there were 11.8% of telemedicine user respondents with a travel time to the puskesmas of between 30-60 minutes, and only 3.9% with a travel time of over 60 minutes.

"Telemedicine is more widely used by men, millennials, middle socio-economic status (SES), and those residing in the Java region," wrote KIC in its report.

This online survey was conducted from February 28 to March 7, 2022. A total of 2,108 respondents were involved, spread across 34 Indonesian provinces, with a criterion of being over 16 years old.
