Serie A is the top-tier professional football league in the Italian football league system, having been in operation for over 90 years.
The league boasts three globally popular clubs: Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan.
During this summer's transfer window, various Serie A clubs have been striving to strengthen their teams through player transfers.
According to Transfermarkt data, as of July 5th, 2023, the most expensive Serie A players based on transfer fees are Manuel Locatelli and Moise Kean.
Manuel Locatelli, a midfielder from Sassuolo, transferred to Juventus for €30 million, approximately Rp490.86 billion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp16,362 per €).
Initially, Locatelli joined Juventus on a two-year loan. However, due to new regulations limiting loan durations to a maximum of one season, he was subsequently signed permanently.
Locatelli's transfer is considered advantageous, given his crucial role in the Bianconeri's midfield over the past two seasons.
Similar to Locatelli, Moise Kean also began his career at Juventus on loan, joining in the 2021/2022 season. He has now officially transferred from Everton to Juventus for a fee of €30 million.
However, Kean's performance has not been optimal so far. In 84 matches over the past two seasons, he has only scored 14 goals.
