The COVID-19 transmission situation in Natuna does not appear to be improving. The Ministry of Health recorded no weekly cases per 100,000 population in the region the previous week.
Tanjung Pinang is next in second place, recording 0.91 weekly confirmed cases per 100,000 population. Compared to the previous week, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases this week is still higher, meaning no improvement is evident.
Rounding out the top five, besides the two regions above, are Batam City, Anambas Islands, and Bintan. Each recorded 0.06 weekly confirmed cases, while two other regions recorded no cases.
The good news from this province is that four regencies/cities recorded no increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population per week.
Other information from today's daily COVID-19 data statistics shows that 161 regencies/cities in Indonesia recorded a higher increase compared to the previous week, and 102 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly confirmations than the previous week.
