The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 104 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.21 percent as of Thursday, September 29, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with figures exceeding 19.43 percent are Metro City, Cianjur, Pasuruan City, Balikpapan City, and Banyumas, with values of 23 percent, 20 percent, 19.67 percent, 19.5 percent, and 19.43 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 10 regencies/cities, while 14 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing figures.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Metro City, Balikpapan City, and Karimun, with tracing figures of 23 percent, 19.5 percent, and 18 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
