At that time, Mamuju's air quality was categorized as "good," meaning pollutant levels were very minimal. Gorontalo ranked second with an air quality index of 31, followed by Jayapura in third place with an index of 36.

* 300+: Hazardous
Therefore, on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 7:00 PM WIB, cities with good air quality were Mamuju, Gorontalo, Jayapura, Ternate, Bulungan, Kendari, Malang, and Banda Aceh. The other two cities, Manokwari and Balikpapan, had moderate air quality.
