At that time, Mamuju's air quality was categorized as "good," meaning pollutant levels were very minimal. Gorontalo ranked second with an air quality index of 31, followed by Jayapura in third place with an index of 36.

Below is a complete list of the 10 cities with the cleanest air in Indonesia according to the KLHK on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 7:00 PM WIB:

3. Jayapura (Papua): 36
4. Ternate (North Maluku): 40
