The top five regencies/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 exceeding 0.41 per 100,000 population per week are Mamasa, Purworejo, Madiun City, Pesawaran, and Sigi, with respective rates of 0.61, 0.56, 0.56, 0.44, and 0.41 per 100,000 population per week.
National Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. One regency/city recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, while two regencies/cities recorded lower rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 include Mamasa, Pesawaran, and Sigi, with rates of 0.61, 0.44, and 0.41 per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to curbing the spread of the coronavirus.
