The top five, starting from the highest, are Mimika, Jayapura City, Manokwari, Badung, and Teluk Wondama, with respective figures of 13.68 people per 1,000 population/week, 13.55 people per 1,000 population/week, 13.28 people per 1,000 population/week, 12.68 people per 1,000 population/week, and 12.55 people per 1,000 population/week, respectively.
Mimika ranks first. With a population of 221,810, the number of people tested here is recorded at 13.68 per 1,000 population/week. The latest positive rate is 0.26 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Jayapura City. The population in this region is recorded at 309,760. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people tested is 13.55 per 1,000 population/week. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0.29 percent, which has also decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Then, there are 13.28 tests per 1,000 population/week in Manokwari, Badung with a population of 727,950, Covid-19 tests recorded at 12.68 per 1,000 population/week, and 12.55 tests per 1,000 population/week in Teluk Wondama.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on a recapitulation of national Covid data, there are 203 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher daily number of people tested than before.
