Weekly Confirmed Positive Cases in West Java, Highest in Bandung City

The highest increase in confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in West Java currently occurred in Bandung City, with 15.26 cases per 100,000 people per week as of Wednesday, September 28, 2022. This figure is 0.1 cases higher than the second-highest region.

However, despite being the highest, the number of Covid-19 infections in Bandung City has decreased compared to the previous week, which was 18.89 cases per 100,000 people per week.

Depok City is next in second place, recording a weekly confirmation rate of 15.17 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Compared to the previous week, which reached 20.1 cases, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases this week is lower.

Rounding out the top five, in addition to the two regions above, are Bogor City, Bekasi City, and Cimahi City. Each recorded weekly confirmations of 13.52 cases, 13.39 cases, and nine cases, respectively.
