The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 38 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 0.97 percent as of Thursday, October 6, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with rates exceeding 17.33 percent are Malang City, Karimun, Ciamis, Blitar City, and Probolinggo City, with values of 25 percent, 20 percent, 20 percent, 18 percent, and 17.33 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily tracing rate higher than the previous day was recorded in one district/city, while nine districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Karimun, Sibolga City, and Bandar Lampung City, with tracing rates of 20 percent, 17 percent, and 15 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
