The number of people in Papua who have received their first dose of the vaccine is 697,750.

As of Thursday, December 16, 2021, Papua Province has achieved a 27.01% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 697,750 individuals vaccinated out of a target of 2.58 million. The second dose vaccination rate reached 19.88% of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the breakdown of vaccinations against the Covid-19 virus in this province is as follows: The health workforce target was 19,530 individuals. For the first dose, 19,530 people were vaccinated (100.89% of the target), and for the second dose, 94.29% or 18,410 people were vaccinated.

For public officials, the target was 289,920 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 174,960 individuals (60.35% of the target), and the second dose reached 50.7% or 146,980 individuals.

For the elderly, the target was 177,360 individuals. The first dose was administered to 22,310 individuals (12.58% of the target). The second dose reached 9.33% or 16,540 individuals.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.69 million individuals. For the first dose, 380,800 individuals were vaccinated (23.45% of the target). The second dose reached 16.05% or 256,280 individuals.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 407,850 individuals. The first dose was administered to 84,620 individuals (20.75% of the target). The second dose reached 14.89% or 60,730 individuals.
