A report by Indonesia's Central Statistics Agency (BPS), titled *2022 Indonesian Tourist Statistics*, shows that the average expenditure of domestic tourists reached Rp2.43 million per trip last year. This figure is up 1.09% compared to 2021.

Meanwhile, the least amount of expenditure during the trip was on shopping, accounting for 8.35%.

On the other hand, other expenses were also significant, reaching 27.61% of total travel expenses.
