As of Thursday, September 16, 2021, a total of 121.95 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 76.58 million first doses, 43.74 million second doses, and 1.62 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (133.47% of the target), and 1.8 million have received their second dose (122.35% of the target). Furthermore, 823,760 healthcare workers have received a third dose (56.09% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.59 million have received their first dose (159.22% of the target), and 14.48 million have received their second dose (83.56% of the target).
Elderly individuals, a priority group in the initial vaccination phase, have received 5.79 million first doses (26.88% of the target) and 4.09 million second doses (18.98% of the target).
Since July 2021, the government has also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 37.09 million first doses (26.93% of the target) and 20.46 million second doses (14.98% of the target) have been administered.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.21 million have received their first dose (12.04% of the target), and 2.22 million have received their second dose (8.32% of the target).
