President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has set the cost of organizing the 1445 Hijriah/2024 Masehi Hajj pilgrimage.
This is stipulated in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 6 of 2024, which was inaugurated on January 9, 2024.
The Presidential Decree regulates the Hajj Pilgrimage Trip Cost (Bipih) per embarkation point for pilgrims, Regional Hajj Officers (PHD), and Hajj and Umrah Guidance Group Supervisors (KBIHU).
"This pilgrim's Bipih is used for Hajj flights, accommodation in Mecca, part of the accommodation cost in Medina, living costs, and visas," said Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) Spokesperson Anna Hasbie, as reported by Katadata, Wednesday (10/1/2024).
The following is a list of Bipih per embarkation point for the 2024 departure, ordered from the lowest to the highest cost:

List of Prospective Hajj Pilgrims for 2024 Departure
The Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah (PHU) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs has also released a list of regular Hajj pilgrims included in the 2024 departure quota.
Their names are listed in the Circular Letter of the Director General of PHU Number 02 of 2023, and can be viewed through the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Pusaka SuperApps.
"The list of names has been announced and sent to the Provincial Kemenag Kanwil throughout Indonesia for immediate follow-up," said Anna Hasbie.
Regular pilgrims whose names are included in this year's departure quota can immediately prepare the Hajj cost payment process.
The first phase of Bipih payment for regular Hajj pilgrims will be opened from January 10 to February 12, 2024.
The first phase of payment can be made by regular Hajj pilgrims who meet the following criteria:
1. Regular Hajj pilgrims according to the departure quota number for 1445 Hijriah/2024 Masehi.
2. Regular Hajj pilgrims who are prioritized for the elderly; and
3. Regular Hajj pilgrims who are included in the reserve quota number order.
"Don't forget to have a health check first. Because, Hajj health istitha'ah starting this year is a requirement for payment," said Anna Hasbie.
The Saudi Arabian government has set Indonesia's Hajj quota for the 2024 departure at 241,000 pilgrims. This consists of 221,000 normal quotas and 20,000 additional quotas.
