This testing achievement data is calculated based on the number of people tested compared to the weekly target of each region, which is then reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest, are Balikpapan City, West Lampung Regency, Gunungsitoli City, Metro City, and Purwakarta Regency, with percentages of 559.94 percent, 322.08 percent, 307.48 percent, 288.57 percent, and 255.37 percent, respectively.
Balikpapan City ranks first. With a population of 646,020, the weekly testing percentage is recorded at 559.94 percent. The latest positive rate is 1.14 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is West Lampung Regency. The population of this region is recorded at 309,510. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage is 322.08 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 1.11 percent, which has also decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Then, Gunungsitoli City, with a population of 147,940, has a weekly testing percentage of 307.48 percent. Metro City's weekly testing percentage is recorded at 288.57 percent, and Purwakarta Regency, with a population of 960,820, has a weekly testing percentage of 255.37 percent.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 180 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher daily weekly testing percentage than before. Meanwhile, 180 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly testing percentage compared to the previous week's testing.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to continue to participate in reducing Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
