As of Thursday, March 31, 2022, a total of 358.39 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 196.59 million first doses, 159.46 million second doses, and 2.35 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 2.02 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (137.64% of the target). 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (133.58% of the target). Furthermore, 1.48 million healthcare workers have received a third dose (100.77% of the target).
For public sector workers, 18.61 million individuals have received their first dose (107.39% of the target), and 16.89 million have received their second dose (97.46% of the target).
The elderly population was also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 17.12 million elderly individuals (79.42% of the target) have received their first dose, and 13.24 million (61.44% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 111.95 million individuals (80.13% of the target) have received their first dose, and 89.36 million (64.09% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 25.05 million (93.81% of the target) have received their first dose, and 21.26 million (79.62% of the target) have received their second dose.
