The five districts/cities with the highest number of Covid-19 deaths, exceeding 0.13 deaths per 100,000 population per week, are Palangkaraya City, Malang City, Solok, Ogan Ilir, and Temanggung, with respective values of 0.67 deaths per 100,000 population per week, 0.34 deaths per 100,000 population per week, 0.26 deaths per 100,000 population per week, 0.22 deaths per 100,000 population per week, and 0.13 deaths per 100,000 population per week.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the number of deaths due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java. Two districts/cities recorded a higher daily number of deaths due to Covid-19 than previously, while one district/city recorded a lower number of deaths due to Covid-19.
Areas outside Java with the highest number of Covid-19 deaths include Palangkaraya City, Solok, and Ogan Ilir, with respective death rates of 0.67 deaths per 100,000 population per week, 0.26 deaths per 100,000 population per week, and 0.22 deaths per 100,000 population per week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
