The number of people in West Sulawesi who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 3.89 million.

As of Friday, January 14, 2022, West Sulawesi Province had achieved an 80.43% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 3.89 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 4.84 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 49.19% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,920 recipients. For the first dose, 32,920 people were vaccinated (138.8% of the target), and for the second dose, 132.59% of the target was achieved, or 27,840 people.

For public officials, the target was 349,420 people. The first dose vaccination reached 519,390 people (148.64% of the target), and the second dose reached 136.17% of the target, with 475,810 doses administered.

For the elderly, the target was 322,470 people. The first dose was administered to 190,080 people (58.94% of the target). The second dose reached 32.77% of the target, or 105,670 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 3.45 million people. The first dose was administered to 2.42 million people (72.2% of the target). The second dose reached 39.2% of the target, or 1.29 million people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 684,190 people. The first dose was administered to 611,700 people (89.41% of the target). The second dose reached 58.83% of the target, with 402,520 doses administered.
