The top five, starting from the highest percentage of people tested per week, are Indragiri Hulu (385.71%), Balikpapan City (326.55%), Purwakarta (186.34%), Kutai Kartanegara (142.98%), and Banjarbaru City (138.57%).
Indragiri Hulu ranks first. With a population of 453,480, the weekly percentage of people tested here was recorded at 385.71 percent. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Balikpapan City. The population in this region is recorded at 649,420. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly percentage of people tested was 326.55 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0.29 percent, an increase compared to the previous week's percentage.
Furthermore, Purwakarta recorded 186.34 percent testing, Kutai Kartanegara recorded 142.98 percent, and Banjarbaru City, with a population of 286,800, recorded a weekly percentage of people tested at 138.57 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 79 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher daily percentage of people tested per week than before. Meanwhile, 94 other regencies/cities recorded a lower percentage of people tested per week compared to the previous week.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to continue to reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water.
