Average Length of Schooling in Tanggamus Regency Still Below National Average

The average length of schooling (RLS) for residents aged 25 years and over in Tanggamus, Lampung reached 7.63 years in 2025.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the RLS for residents in the region is below the average for Lampung Province, which reached 8.61 years in 2025.

Tanggamus residents' RLS increased by 0.25 years (3.39%) compared to the previous year, which was 7.38 years. Meanwhile, in the last five years, the RLS increased by 0.41 years (5.68%).

The RLS indicates that the average Tanggamus resident only attended school up to grade VII. However, this RLS is still below the national RLS average of 9.07 years in 2025.
