Only 17.7% of the Covid-19 vaccination target had been achieved by July 13, 2021.

The Ministry of Health had administered the first dose of the Covid-19 coronavirus vaccine to 36,914,607 people as of July 13, 2021. This is equivalent to 17.7% of the vaccination target of 208.3 million people.

15,190,998 of these individuals have received a second dose of the vaccine. Therefore, only 7.3% of the government's desired vaccination target has been achieved.

To achieve this target, the government plans to administer 1 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine per day in July 2021. This figure will be increased to 2 million doses per day in the second half of 2021.

Furthermore, the government has expanded the groups eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine. It is no longer limited to health workers, public officials, and the elderly. The general public and children can also receive the vaccine.

Despite the ongoing vaccination program, the public is still urged to diligently implement the 3M health protocols: wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap. In addition, the public is encouraged to avoid crowds and reduce mobility.
