The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 1.95 percent. This average is down compared to last week's 2.19 percent, based on data from Saturday, May 28, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR above 30 percent are Fakfak, Malinau, East Manggarai, Sitaro, and North Musi Rawas, with values of 100 percent, 40 percent, 37.5 percent, 33.33 percent, and 30 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 35 regencies/cities, while 63 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Malinau, and East Manggarai, with BORs of 100 percent, 40 percent, and 37.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
