The top five, starting from the highest, are Simalungun, Mandailing Natal, Tidore Islands City, North Padang Lawas, and Pangandaran, with percentages of 92.13 percent, 82.66 percent, 81.52 percent, 76.56 percent, and 72.89 percent, respectively.
Simalungun ranks first. With a population of 880,300, its weekly suspect testing percentage is 92.13 percent. The latest positive rate is 2.61 percent, lower than the previous week's ratio.
Next is Mandailing Natal. Its population is 463,910. In efforts to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect testing percentage is 82.66 percent. The positive rate is 0 percent, also lower than the previous week's ratio.
The weekly suspect testing percentage in Tidore Islands City is 81.52 percent, 76.56 percent in North Padang Lawas, and 72.89 percent in Pangandaran.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact across various regions, based on national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 114 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher weekly suspect testing percentage than the previous week. Meanwhile, 180 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly suspect testing percentage compared to the previous week.
