The top five, starting from the highest, are Indragiri Hulu, Balikpapan City, Purwakarta, Kutai Kartanegara, and Banjarbaru City, with percentages of 438.62 percent, 324.07 percent, 172.99 percent, 143.11 percent, and 142.14 percent, respectively.
Indragiri Hulu ranks first. With a population of 453,480, the weekly percentage of people tested is 438.62 percent. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Balikpapan City. The region's population is 649,420. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly percentage of people tested is 324.07 percent. The positive rate in this region is 0.38 percent, an increase compared to the previous week's ratio.
Then, Purwakarta, with a population of 965,370, recorded a weekly percentage of people tested at 172.99 percent; Kutai Kartanegara recorded 143.11 percent; and Banjarbaru City recorded 142.14 percent.
In anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid data recapitulation, there are 69 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reporting a higher weekly percentage of people tested compared to the previous period. Meanwhile, 48 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly percentage of people tested compared to the previous week.
